Château Teyssier

We had the pleasure of visiting our dear friends, Antoine Darquey and his son Pierre, the proprietors of Château Teyssier Our friendship with them dates back to the early 90s, and Château Teyssier's exquisite wine has been a cherished part of our collection for over two decades. This family-run estate crafts their wines with a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, aging them in French oak barrels. Their estate covers an impressive 51 hectares of land.

During our visit, they graciously offered us the opportunity to sample four different vintages: 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2016. Following this delightful tasting, we ventured down to the picturesque local village, where we indulged in a delicious lunch accompanied by a magnum of the 2010 vintage and a bottle of the 2016, making for a truly memorable day.
