Tasting Notes

On the nose: you'll detect notes of candied nuts, zesty lime juice, hints of zucchini bread, the toasty essence of roasted marshmallows, the freshness of green grapes, the subtle spiciness of whole cloves, and a gentle smoky-woody undertone that eventually leans into a green astringency.

Taste: it comes across as comparatively youthful, displaying the most prominent wood influence among the trio. Initially, there's a subtle hint of turmeric, followed by a dominant middle palate filled with the smoky sweetness reminiscent of campfire-roasted marshmallows. This flavor journey smoothly transitions into the finish, where it lingers moderately, offering spicy wood accents, although these are the least pronounced of the three elements.

Raw Fish, Roast Lamb, Pork and Game Meat

Why Try Notorious Pink!

Notorious Pink is a special cuvée made from 100% Grenache, the principal grape varietal at Domaine la Colombette in the  Languedoc, South of France. Since 1890, four generations of the Pugibet Family have been producing award winning wines with savoir-faire. The La Colombette Estate is situated in the South of France, just 10 miles from the Mediterranean coast, it is here that this exquisite Rosé is made. We are very happy and proud to be working with the delightful Pugibet Family as their sole UK importer.
