From the legendary Premier Cru Supérieur estate, the 2016 Château d’Yquem is a vintage of precision, elegance, and quiet power. Pale gold in the glass with brilliant clarity, it opens with delicate aromas of white peach, lemon zest, and elderflower, layered with nuances of honeycomb, chamomile, and toasted almonds. The palate is finely textured—less opulent than the 2015, but supremely refined—offering a vibrant interplay of sweetness and acidity. Notes of citrus curd, fresh pineapple, and subtle spice unfold into a long, silky finish. A beautifully composed Yquem that showcases purity, finesse, and remarkable ageing potential.
