Tasting Notes

The 2019 Moulin de La Lagune is an elegant and approachable Bordeaux with a lovely balance of ripe fruit and freshness. Aromas of blackberry, plum and red cherry are complemented by gentle notes of spice, cedar and cocoa. On the palate, the wine is smooth and rounded, with juicy dark fruit, fine tannins and a subtle savoury character. The finish is fresh and polished, making this a very enjoyable Haut-Médoc to drink now, while still having enough structure to develop further in bottle.

Red meat, lamb, roast chicken, charcuterie and cheese.
