The 2022 Vino del Olivo from Contino opens with lifted aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, and wild herbs, layered with hints of violets, sweet spice, and a touch of earth. On the palate it’s concentrated yet polished, showing juicy dark fruit wrapped in fine, chalky tannins and lively acidity. Subtle notes of cedar, clove, and graphite add complexity, carrying through to a long, savoury, and quietly powerful finish.
