Tasting Note
The 2018 Opus One reveals aromas of cassis, black cherry, and dark chocolate, intertwined with hints of graphite, rose petal, and subtle oak spice. On the palate, it is rich yet graceful, with fine-grained tannins and a vibrant core of fruit. Layers of blackberry, plum, and espresso unfold into a long, elegant finish marked by freshness and depth.

The 2018 vintage enjoyed near-ideal conditions, beginning with abundant winter rainfall that replenished the soils. A mild spring encouraged even flowering and fruit set, while a long, temperate summer allowed the grapes to mature gradually, developing complexity without excessive ripeness. Harvest took place between September 19th and October 25th, producing beautifully balanced wines with purity and finesse.
