This 2016 Fourcas-Borie vintage, under the expert guidance of the Borie family, is a beautiful expression of elegance and depth. With aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry, it opens with floral notes and a smooth, silky palate that leads to a long, expressive finish. Rich in dark berries, it showcases purity and precision, with a mineral edge from the terroir adding complexity to its refined texture. Critics have praised its structured, joyful character, with scores ranging from 90-92 by Robert Parker and Vinous to 91 from James Suckling. A truly remarkable vintage with excellent aging potential.
